« Gold is unalterable, stainless, it’s the perfect metal. Its only limit is our imagination »
Jean Christophe Rousseau (aka JC), artist and specialist in gold leaf for twenty years, former President of the National Union of Gilders, first worked with gold leaf in a traditional way before creating and developing products and know-how. unique in the world.
Among other things, he invented the first champagne with 24K pure gold flakes, gilding on the skin, gold cigars, gold and silver mills, gold shisha… He realized the first car in the world entirely covered with gold leaves as well as creative decoration pieces, and projects in many countries.
Today, a large part of his business consists in making tailor-made products for his customers all over the world and in a wide variety of sectors (decoration, fashion, beauty, F&B, art, sport ...)
Since 2018, JC uses only ethical gold procured through a specific United Nations programme. There is no mercury for extraction, which means this product is better for the environment. No children are involved in the procurement. Ethical Gold is more expensive, but it is JC’s personal preference to use it, as this will result in positive outcomes for people and the planet.
